Benighted Soul won 4 out of 7 categories at the Metal Sympho Awards hosted by the french webzine MetalSymphonique.com !
- Edge of Insanity was voted best music video,
- Start from Scratch was voted best studio album, in a tie with Nightwish's Imaginaerum,
- best french band,
- Benighted Soul's tour supporting Tarja Turunen next February has been voted biggest expectation for 2012, in a tie with Nightwish's next tour.

We wanted to thank everyone who appreciates our music and all those who keeped on supporting us last year.
2011 has been a tremendous year, but 2012 will be just as exciting and will kick off in February with a new European tour with Tarja Turunen !
